Welling & Crossley was given the opportunity to supply their Iveco engines to a project for Riverina Water Engineering.
The challenge was to design a drip irrigation system with the lowest fuel consumption as possible to irrigate grape vines that are up to 800 metres long. The lower fuel consumption of the engines helps to keep the operating costs down, making this irrigation system extremely cost effective.
The fuel efficient Iveco engines used for this project are the turbocharged and after cooled N67MNTA designed for irrigation pump applications. Follow the link to view the video below to find out more about this project.
