The control starting system is fitted standard. Starting is remote or local to the machine with push Start/Stop button and includes the following digital indicators:
- Oil Pressure
- Engine Temperature
- Frequency
- Volts and Amps
- Shut Down for low oil & temperature
- Emergency stop button
- Output circuit breaker
- Static Battery Charger
Can also be configured to operate with an Automatic Transfer Switch with logic.
- Heavy duty fabricated steel baseframe
The complete generating set is mounted as a whole onto a heavy duty fabricated steel baseframe. Anti-vibration pads are fixed between the engine and alternator feet, and the baseframe, ensuring complete vibration isolation of the rotating assembly.
- Bunded Fuel Tank (AS 1940-2004 compliant)
The fuel tank is fully bunded and complies fully with relevant sections in AS 1940-2004. It has a secondary containment compound with a capacity as big or bigger than that of the tank, and is made of surface coated steel. This compound is designed to sufficiantly retain spillage and enable recovery of any spillage. For more information regarding AS 1940-2004 compliance refer to the standard, or contact us.
- Battery Charger
This trickle charge battery charger ensures that your generator can start up when needed. It has both 12v and 24v charging capabilities.
- Control Panel with Emergency Stop button
This control panel monitors the controls of a single unit to achieve automatic start/stop, data measuring/monitoring, alarm protection and three remote systems (remote control, remote measuring and remote communication). The controller adopts large liquid crystal display (LCD) and has a 32 bit micro-processor with precision parameters for measuring, fixed value adjustment, time setting and threshold adjustment.
- Prime or Standby Power
Standby: kVA @ 0.8 pf These ratings are applicable for supplying continuous electrical power (at variable loads) in the event of a utility power failure. No overload is permitted on these ratings. Minimum output from alternators are peak continuous rated (as defined in 1SO 8528-3 @ 27°C. Annual hour limitation: 500 hours).
Prime (continuous): kVA @ 0.8 pf. (Divide standby rating by 1.1). Available for continuous electrical output. There is no hour limitation. 10% overload is available 1 hour in 12. The generating set and this specification is designed for environmental conditions of up to 27°C, up to 152.4 m above sea level and up to 60% relative humidity. Ratings at 0.8 pf.
